Duration: 9 days / 08 nights or with option for 10 days / 09 nights.
In our proposal you will have the opportunity to take innovative tours through parks and natural reserves with tradition in the Mapuche aborigines. You will know the contrast between landscapes of high mountains, volcanoes, forests, rivers and large and deep blue water mirrors. You will learn respect for mother earth from native peoples.
You will have the possibility to connect with the deep serenity of the calm lakes and the views of the lush forests. You will be able to open your heart to the experiences of getting to know the Puel community, visiting museums and tasting typical aboriginal foods. As a special detail, you will visit one day in a Ruca Choroy community to learn about its way of life and sustainability.
The entertainment activities will be trekking, hiking, mountain biking, expedition to a volcano, horseback riding on the lake, rafting and optional sailing on the lake.
Support is given to regional communities through support in culinary activities offered by the Mapuches on excursions. The accommodation and services of drivers and guides are also proposals of excellent service and with social commitment to the commune to which they belong.
ITINERARY
DAY 1: TRANSFER IN NEUQUÉN – VILLA PEHUENIA (- / – / D)
Arrival at Neuquén Airport, meeting with the receptive guide to start the private transfer to Villa Pehuenia.
Gourmet dinner with local chef.
Accommodation: Posada La Escondida or similar.
DAY 2: VILLA PEHUENIA AVENTURA – BATEA MAHUIDA VOLCANO (B / L / D)
In the early morning activity of your choice in the area (low difficulty trekking or basic mountain bike), touring the Coihues Peninsula and viewpoints of Villa Pehuenia.
Country lunch.
In the afternoon excursion to Batea Mahuida Volcano, includes tasting of traditional products based on Mapuche food.
Return to Villa Pehuenia.
Dinner.

DAY 3: VILLA PEHUENIA – ALUMINÉ (B / L / D)
In the morning, departure to Moquehue for a 2-hour ride duration.
Country lunch.
Continuation to Aluminé making the Pehuenia Circuit that runs through five lakes in total: Aluminé, Moquehue, Nompehuén, Ñorquinco and Pulmarí.
In the afternoon, arrive at Aluminé.
Dinner.

DAY 4: ALUMINÉ (B / L / D)
In the morning rafting excursion.
Lunch.
In the afternoon, visit and walk through the Quilque Lil reserve with a visit to the Charrúa Museum.
Dinner.

DAY 5: ALUMINÉ (B / L / D)
Full day Ruca Choroy Community.
Lunch and snack with members of the community.
Dinner.

DAY 6: ALUMINÉ – PILO LIL – SAN MARTÍN DE LOS ANDES (B / L / D)
Early departure on an excursion to San Martín de los Andes, passing through Pilo Lil, Bajada del Rahue.
Arrival to San Martín de los Andes.
Dinner.
Accommodation: La Casa de Eugenia or similar.
DAY 7: LAGO HUECHULAFQUEN – VOLCÁN LANÍN (B / L / D)
In the morning, departure on a full day excursion to visit the Huechulafquen, Paimún and Epulafquen lakes with a visit to the Lanín Volcano and Mapuche communities in the area.
Includes lunch at a country restaurant run by people from the Mapuche community.
In the afternoon, return to San Martín de los Andes.
Dinner.

DAY 8: VILLA MELIQUINA – FILO HUA HUM (B / L / D)
Early morning departure for the ½ day excursion where we will visit Villa Meliquina and Filo Hua Hum.
Lunch box in the area.
Then, in the afternoon, I return to San Martín de los Andes.

DAY 9: TRANSFER OUT SAN MARTÍN DE LOS ANDES – AEROPUERTO CHAPELCO (B / – / -)
Private transfer from the hotel to Chapelco Airport at an agreed time according to flights.
End of our services
DAY 1 0: VISITA 3 PARQUE NACIONALES – 7 LAGOS – VILLA LA ANGOSTURA. (B / L / D) (OPTIONAL)
Departure early in the morning to begin the route known as “De los Siete Lagos”, which connects the towns of San Martín de los Andes and Villa La Angostura.
Halfway through we will stop on the shores of Lake Correntoso to share with a family from the Mapuche community tastings of some of their local products.
Lunch at Villa La Angostura.
Then, we will embark to enjoy a navigation through the Nahuel Huapi lake and access the famous Arrayanes Forest where we will take a guided walk through its interior, ending it in the forest house.
Return to Villa La Angostura to continue touring its charm, docks and civic center.
In the afternoon / evening, return to San Martín de los Andes.
Dinner.
